12/27/2023 0 Comments Power armor training fallout 3![]() Even a brief holotape talking about how the micro-fusion reactors were giving out would have sufficed. It probably would have been better received had Fallout 4 explained how the fuel change took place. In fact I'm glad they got rid of the training requirement.Granted, this new system isn’t necessarily a retcon. Like I said I have nothing against the choices made for fallout 4. So why not give it to raiders and make it more obvious? In fallout 4, realistically only the brotherhood should have experience using power armor, but surely that'll make the game stale as the brotherhood aren't always everywhere and won't get to flaunt their armor. You practically see it everywhere and it's an important part of Fallout, the iconic image. In fallout 3 you had the brotherhood and enclave wearing power armor. Why? Because in previous Fallouts you don't see raiders using power armor right? Of course in this game you do which is an attempt by Bethesda to throw power armor in your face. I would argue that IT IS an overlooked detail for the sake of casual players. I can understand if equipping power armor in fo3 resulted in not getting the full benefits due to lack of training but the game outright prevents you from equipping it. It's the canon no matter how much you try to argue it. However, FO3 and FNV prevented even the entrance and utilization of the armor which resulted you in needing training. You're right, any civilian can literally get in that thing and move. It's not about the practicality of the actual power armor OR the logic. This content can be restored with a mod and MAY justify power armor usage. Stop trying to justify it so hard and accept the fact that this detail was overlooked by Bethesda to sell their game and hype it up with the intro they show cased at E3.įun fact: there's cut content in the game's files (including terminal information and in-game dialogue) that made Nora a war veteran as well and not the lawyer. If anything, being younger has a greater advantage of being able to learn faster and be more physically apt for power armor usage. At no point during that time would it even be feasible for her to have any idea of the usage of power armor. Plus a few years extra given the pregnancy stage of 9 months and Shaun already being 1 year old. 4 years of college plus 4 years of law school assuming she started college at 18. However, if we were to follow the typical American educational trends, we can assume that she's around 26-28 years old. ![]() III) there's no definitive age of Nora and Nate. That could even imply that he himself didn't have the training or knowledge to do so. He's one of the soldiers that didn't have the privilege of riding one. Further more, in the intro, Nate wasn't even shown in power armor. If using power armor only required a simple explanation then Nate must feel pretty stupid for having to go through the military for all that training to even know how to use power armor. II) this is the excuse I constantly hear which is plain stupid. That's like saying she's the best doctor in the commonwealth because she was around a time where medicine was way better than the standards of the Fallout universe, even if she didn't even practice an ounce of medicine. I) living in prewar times have no guarantee on knowledge obtained. While I don't care to justify how she can use power armor, let me play devils advocate.
